1. What is included with the magneride delete simulators?
If you choose to purchase a magdelete kit without parts, you will receive four ride height simulators and four mag delete simulators. This will allow you to bypass the magneride on all four corners.
2. Which models will your magneride delete simulators work for?
2015 to 2020 Yukon/Yukon XL
2015 to 2020 Tahoe
2015 to 2020 Suburban
2015 to 2020 Escalade
2015 to 2018 Sierra 1500
2013 to 2019 Cadillac ATS
2014 to 2019 Cadillac CTS
2014 to 2019 Corvette
3. Will I be able to retain my rear auto level?
Some of our kits include the option to delete the magneride but still retain the rear auto level. This is kit specific, please see the options on each kit to determine if this is available for your vehicle.
4. I'm interested in a Bilstein kit. Why can't I just purchase the bare strut and swap my springs and upper mounts over?
Unfortunately the upper mounts and springs are different on the magneride struts and are simply not compatible with aftermarket non magneride bare struts. You can save the hassle of sourcing a spring compressor or of running into compatibility issues by purchasing a full kit!
5. What warranty do your products carry?
All of our conversion kits (excluding simulators, see below) carry a one year parts warranty. If we install your conversion kit, we also warranty labor for one year.
If you keep proof of completion of a "Ride Height Sensor Trim Procedure" at the time of install, we will warranty your magneride delete simulators for lifetime. This can be in the form of a picture of a scan tool with a completed procedure, or a receipt from a local mechanic shop stating that the procedure has been completed.
6. What is a "Ride Height Sensor Trim Procedure"?
This procedure recalibrates the Suspension Control Module (SCM) within your vehicle to zero out the ride height. The magneride system normally operates by monitoring the ride height sensors and applying voltage to the shocks as it senses changes in ride height. Since you will be removing the magneride system and installing a simulator in place of the ride height sensor, it is important to complete this procedure so that the SCM can relearn what normal ride height is.
7. How will my vehicle ride after the conversion kit is installed?
All of our products are intended to restore your vehicle to OEM or better ride quality.
8. Can I install the kit myself? Can I purchase a kit and have a local mechanic shop install it?
Absolutely! All of our kits come with full instructions for both simulator install and installation of the parts themselves. It is difficult to assess the mechanical ability of a customer, but generally it is doable for the handyman type or backyard mechanic. You will need a variety of hand tools as well as the ability to lift the vehicle and safely support it one axle at a time during install.
If you'd like to have a local mechanic install your kit, no problem! We will happily work with your mechanic of choice if they have any questions or if any issues arise. Normal shop time to install one of our kits should be approximately five hours (plus the cost of a wheel alignment).
9. Why are your kits better than the competitors?
We offer a variety of options with much cheaper pricing. Our magneride delete simulators are of a much higher quality than the competitors and feature both internal and external heat sinks to dissipate heat.
We also offer the necessary shocks and struts as a kit, so no need to spend time unnecessarily searching for what you need. We have it all right here!
10. How long will shipping take?
Shipping times strongly depend on your location. Western Canadian shipments are usually around three business days. Eastern Canada shipments are usually around 5 business days. International shipments usually take 5-7 business days but can vary due to customs.
We try our best to get shipments out next day, but if this isn't possible, we will inform you via email.
11. What shipping companies do you use?
We generally ship DHL to USA and Purolator or Canada Post within Canada. If you have a specific request for carrier, please enter your request into the comments section of your order and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
12. Why did I get charged duties/taxes when my order arrived?
We are a Canadian based company, so orders outside of Canada may have taxes/duties/brokerage fees imposed on the shipment based upon the total value of the order. These fees are charged by the country of import and are completely out of our control. If you're worried about these fees, please do your research before ordering.
13. What is your return policy?
We have a 30 day return policy on all of the products we sell on our website. You will be responsible for return shipping costs and there is a 20% restocking fee on all returned kits. In order to be eligible for a return, the kit must be unopened. If you have an issue with your kit, please contact us using the information below.
14. Where are you located and how can I get a hold of you?
